Hi guys,
I’m Nidhi..which
means treasure, I myself do not know
what treasure do I have ..? is it money..which obviously I do not have much....
or the values (personal & ethical)....which I possess since childhood by
virtue of my dear parents. May be ‘Yes’..this is what is my real treasure is..!!
This is my
fist attempt in writing and the credit goes to a person whom I met yesterday. A
big thanks to him and his ideology about
women power.
Women like
me who have two work fronts i.e office and home, they always have one question in their
mind..”AM I making a difference”... am I worth at both the places..!! and
when they realize they are not making a difference or they are worthless in
other words…they lose all their hope and charisma to work at both the fronts...
I would
strongly recommend please release your confusion..and let yourself free…you are
lot more worthy than you think off, don’t let your self-esteem dip because
people around you doesn't like your way of doing things…and we all end up
asking our self why it is so hard to please our colleagues and family…After all
we all are human, and fact of the matter is that we can’t please the whole
universe..So accept the fact. Why can’t we women accept the logic so fast why
do we have to be so irrational.
Try to
understand people around us will react in certain way..They will react based on
their knowledge, their experiences of life and their wisdom…..we can’t change their way of
perceiving things, so don’t lose your hope and trust in yourself. It is
required for you to refuel or recharge your energies and inner strengths…believe
me…..you really have to be positive, have faith in yourself, you really are
making a difference to the people around you..
We all are certainly
touching somebody’s lives in some or the other way; we just need to be positive
in our approach.
Yesterday I went
for giving a lecture on computer applications and at the end of the lecture a
gentleman came and told me that he came with the intention of bunking the class
but the lecture was so interesting, that he could not bunk the class. That’s
when I realized.. That I made a difference to someone’s way of thinking. It was
not my deliberate effort…but it was natural…so
I also learnt in the process that I did make a difference….and there was something
inside me which was deeply happy and contented..!! That’s what we all are
looking for..!! Isn’t it...
b'ful this article is .. indeed u make a difference to our lives.... though v dnt tell u this very often.. bt there is no fun w/o u in my life since childhood
ReplyDeleteThank you very much...sis same goes for you too..!! and for my dear Mia too..!!
DeleteYes ! you can :)
ReplyDeletewelcome in blogging,Nidhi!
Ask a flower in the field: ‘Do you feel useful? After all, you do nothing but produce the same flowers over and over?’
ReplyDeleteAnd the flower will answer: ‘I am beautiful, and beauty is my reason for living.’
Ask the river: ‘Do you feel useful, given that all you do is to keep flowing in the same direction?’
And the river will answer: ‘I’m not trying to be useful, I’m trying to be a river.’
Don’t try to be useful. Try to be yourself: that is enough, and that makes all the difference.
Walk neither faster nor slower than your own soul. Because it is your soul that will teach you the usefulness of each step you take.
Sometimes taking part in a great battle
But sometimes you can do that simply by smiling, for no reason, at someone you happen to pass in the street.
Without intending to, you might have saved the life of a complete stranger, who also thought he was useless and might have been ready to kill himself, until a smile gave him new hope and confidence.
